Introduction

The XXIX National Meeting of Production Engineering (ENEGEP) is a national event organized by ABEPRO - Brazilian Association of Industrial Engineering. It convenes the academic community, researchers, professors and students, managers, consulters, engineers, administrators, and other production engineering professionals. The event consists in one of the main propagators of the scientific and technical production of the engineering area and became a forum for discussions about relevant issues in the national scope of industrial engineering , besides promoting the academic knowledge integration/exchange with the sector of production. Accordingly, the ENEGEP is a unique opportunity to join the efforts of everyone that operates on that vital area for the general development.
