Theme of the Event

The central theme of the XXVI ENEGEP will be " Ethics and Social Responsibility- the contribution of the production engineer".

This year the event will take place in Fortaleza, Ceará, the theme will be Social Responsibility and Sustainability. The choice of Fortaleza to host the event has as main objective to be a vector of consolidation of the expansion of national production engineering. The state of Ceará is having  a big expansion in the formulation of graduate and post graduate courses in the area, contributing in a decisive manner to the improvement of the local conditions of regional competitiveness.

The choice of the subject makes possible a distinct view over the possibility of including the questions connected to engineering, in its multiple thematic sources, to a concrete problem, which is discussing the humanization of engineering, the possibility of the production factors to promote a bigger equality, in a latu sensu sense, and wealth distribution, starting from projects that have as central focus the improvement of the economical conditions, the social and environmental aspects pertinent to the production context and its entornos da sociedade.
